Proclamation and Certificate Requests

Please read the guidelines below before submitting your request.

Supervisor Paloma Aguirre issues Proclamations and Certificates of Recognition to honor individuals, organizations, businesses, and community groups for their meaningful contributions to San Diego County.

Guidelines for Submission

  • Proclamations: Typically reserved for major milestone events, significant anniversaries, or occasions of exceptional regional importance.
  • Certificates of Recognition: Ideal for celebrating individual achievements, community service milestones, or local business openings.
  • Lead Time: Due to the high volume of requests, please submit your completed request form at least two weeks prior to the intended presentation date.
  • Requirements: All fields must be completed. You must include proposed language (draft text) for the proclamation or certificate for your request to be considered.

Please note: The Office of Supervisor Aguirre reserves the right to edit the provided text for length and formatting, or to decline any request.
