Honoring immigrants whose journeys ended, but whose dreams live on
Día de los Muertos is a cherished Mexican tradition that celebrates the lives and memories of those who have passed. Far from a day of mourning, it is a vibrant expression of love and remembrance—filled with music, color, and community.
Please submit a photo of a loved one for us to print and include on the altar. Guests are also encouraged to bring a photo to add to one of the community ofrendas honoring family, friends, and pets.
This year, we are also paying special tribute to our immigrant community. In a time of division and uncertainty, we come together to honor immigrants in San Diego whose courage, resilience, and hope defined their journeys—and to remember those whose lives ended but whose dreams live on.
